Here at TCC, we know life isn’t a piece of cake. Especially online. It takes work to stay unwaivered by the negativity in the world. It takes habits built upon habits to become the best version of yourself.
Our Motivation
Sometimes, the hardest place to live is in your own mind. It takes work and multiple moving parts (or habits) to build a happy life. Some people are born with that ability, and there are others who have to work at it.
And that’s perfectly fine. We’re the same way.
Sometimes it takes a perception shift to see how you improve your life, both mentally and physically.
Just like how a car doesn’t run perfectly because just the windshield is installed properly, it requires tons of moving parts working together to get you to hot yoga.
You can look at your mental health in the same way, while one part can break in a car (lets say you have an oil leak), you can go on for a bit working fine, but then it starts to affect different parts of the car. While you may have some parts of your mental and physical life askew, you can go for a little bit before you notice the affects to the other parts of your life.
Creating a centered life isn’t a one time fix or something you can do for a few weeks and change your life. It’s about finding balance within your life through positive actions that help you and even others around you.
No one on the earth is perfect. We all have a faults, weaknesses and days where we feel like stubbing your toe is going to do you in. But having more balance in your life will bring ease through the hard stuff.
“Success is a few simple disciplines exercised every day.”
That is a life quote, not a career one.
Throughout this blog, you will find simple disciplines that are designed to help build up a more centered life for a happier one.
There are aspects of positive mental health some people do well without effort, whereas, other’s could have gone their whole life and never thought to implement those habits.
Doing the right thing all the time will bring you more peace than you could ever imagine. The amount of work may seem daunting, but moderation will be your best friend, and before you know it, those are some of the easiest parts of your day.
You don’t have to be a zen guru overnight. You can take your whole life to become the best you possibly can. It’s better that way, less pressure. It gives you room to fail and to grow.
Take a positive habit at a time and work it until you feel you can implement it into your life will little thought. This doesn’t mean once you ‘master’ it you never think about it again. Keep up the work in the background while moving onto another soul building habit.
